Smoked Mac & Cheese
- Cook Time: 45 Minutes
- Serves: 8
Directions
- Fry bacon in a large skillet and remove once crispy.
- Cook macaroni for 6 minutes in boiling water until al dente.
- Leave ¼ cup excess bacon grease in the pan.
- Add flour then whisk in to make the roux.
- Add velveeta and milk then cook until creamy.
- In a skillet, add the macaroni, ¾ of the crumbled bacon, then pour the melted cheese over top. Add the shredded cheeses then give it a mix.
- Place on the smoker at 350F for 30 minutes.
- Remove once creamy then drizzle with Bachan’s, garnish with green onions and ¼ cup crumbled bacon then serve

• 1 pound of thick cut bacon
• 16 oz elbow macaroni
• 16 oz velveeta
• 8 oz shredded mozzarella
• 8 oz shredded cheddar
• 2 cups 2% milk
• 2 tbsp all purpose flour
• 1 stick butter
• 1/4 cup Bachan’s Original
• ¼ cup green onions for garnish
