Spicy Noodle Soup

Directions

1. In a pot, combine the dashi and Bachan’s Sweet and Spicy Barbecue Sauce. Bring to a simmer over low heat.

2. While the soup is simmering, cook the ramen according to the package, then rinse and drain well. Add the ramen to a deep noodle soup bowl and set aside.

3. Season the prawns on both sides with salt and pepper then add to the soup and cook until pink and cooked through, 1-2 minutes. Stir in the spinach until just wilted.

4. Ladle the soup over the ramen, loosen with chopsticks, then add the prawns and spinach. Enjoy with cilantro, red onions, and sliced green onions.

Bachan'sSweet & SpicyThe perfect amount of sweet heat.

Our Sweet & Spicy Japanese Barbecue Sauce has attitude like that edgy, salty cousin who's just the right amount of dangerous. We gave our family recipe a kick of sweet heat with fermented red jalapeño. Our crave-worthy flavor always comes from clean, simple ingredients.

Growing up, my bachan (aka granny) would cook up the most amazing meals with our family’s sauce. Now, we are honored to share this multi-generational recipe with you. Let’s eat! Itadakimasu!
