Bachan's Burger
- Cook Time: 20 Minutes
- Serves: 4
Directions
1. Combine the ground beef with the garlic powder, ginger powder, and 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper. Mix well. Divide evenly into 4 and shape into burger patties.
2. Grill the onions on a medium hot oiled grill, keeping the rings together. Grill for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly charred, carefully flipping as needed. When done, remove from the heat and set aside or move to a part of the grill that’s on low heat.
3. Optionally butter and toast the buns on a grill over low heat. Evenly spread the buns with mayo.
4. Grill the burgers over a hot, oiled grill, for 5-7 minutes, until cooked to desired doneness, flipping as needed. While the burgers are grilling, mix Bachan’s Japanese Barbecue Sauce and ketchup in a bowl large enough to place the cooked patties. When cooked, remove the patties from the grill. Dunk and flip the patties in the Bachan’s mix, generously coating both sides. Place the patties on the toasted buns and finish with lettuce, the grilled onions, and the top bun. Enjoy while hot!
