Butterfly Turkey Leg
- Cook Time: 25 Minutes

Directions
Butterfly the turkey legs by carefully cutting the meat from the bone on both sides while still keeping the meat attached.
mix the butter milk and pickle juice then brine for 1 hour
Preheat frying oil to 350F
Mix the flour dredge ingredients thoroughly.
Remove legs from brine then coat in flour dredge then let it sit on a a plate for 10-15 minutes while the oil heats up.
Mix together the Sweet Honey Glaze ingredients in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until it thickens.
Carefully place the turkey legs in the hot oil and remove once they reach an internal temp of 165F and they’re golden brown.
glaze with sweet honey sauce then garnish with sesame seeds then serve
ingredients
• 4 Turkey legs
• Green onions
• Sesame seeds
• 2 cups pickle juice
• Buttermilk
Flour dredge
• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups corn starch
• 1 tbsp kosher salt
• 1 tbsp garlic powder
• 1 tbsp onion powder
• 1 tbsp baking powder
Sweet Honey Glaze
• ½ cup Sweet Honey Bachan’s
• ¼ cup honey
• 3 cloves minced garlic
• 1 tbsp Korean Chili Flakes
• ¼ cup finely sliced green onions
• 2 tbsp butter
