Homemade Pork Jerky
- Cook Time: 4 Hours
- Serves: 6-8 People
Directions
- Place the pork loin in the freezer for 1-2 hours prior to cutting.
- Trim excess fat from loin then cut into ¼ inch thick slices using a sharp knife.
- Place the pork in a ziploc bag then add the marinade to the bag. Seal then place in the fridge for 18-24 hours.
- Remove pork from marinade then smoke at 185°F for 3-4 hours.
- Brush more Bachan’s Sweet Honey on top of each piece the last 30 minutes.
- Remove once the jerky becomes translucent.
- Top with sesame seeds and chili flakes then let the jerky cool down in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
- Refrigerate for up to a week and enjoy!
