Burgers that aren't Basic

Directions

1. In a bowl, mix together the mayo and 1 tbsp of the Bachan’s Sweet and Spicy Barbecue Sauce. Set aside.

2. Combine the ground beef with the remaining Bachan’s Sweet and Spicy Barbecue Sauce and mix well. Divide evenly into 4 and shape into burger patties. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.

3. Lightly butter and toast the buns on the grill over low heat. Spread the Bachan’s mayo on top and place the lettuce and tomato on the top bun.

4. Grill the burgers over a hot, oiled grill, for 5-7 minutes, until cooked to desired doneness, flipping as needed. Top each patty with cheese. Cook until the cheese has melted, about 1 minute, then move to the buns, close the burger and enjoy!

Our Sweet & Spicy Japanese Barbecue Sauce has attitude like that edgy, salty cousin who's just the right amount of dangerous. We gave our family recipe a kick of sweet heat with fermented red jalapeño. Our crave-worthy flavor always comes from clean, simple ingredients.

Growing up, my bachan (aka granny) would cook up the most amazing meals with our family’s sauce. Now, we are honored to share this multi-generational recipe with you. Let’s eat! Itadakimasu!
