Miso Salmon

Directions

  1. Marinate salmon portions in Bachan’s Miso Japanese Barbecue Sauce for 4 to 6 hours (Portions should be covered).

  2. Preheat over to 400 degrees.

  3. Place marinated salmon portions on a sheet pan covered with aluminum foil (use non-stick spray to avoid sticking).

  4. Bake salmon for 8 minutes then remove.

  5. Set oven to broil.

  6. Place salmon back in the oven for 2 to 3 minutes more—looking for nice caramelization.

  7. Garnish with sesame seeds, green scallions, and bonito flakes.

Bachan'sMisoBold & savory, with red and white miso.

Please meet our bold and savory-sweet Miso Japanese Barbecue Sauce. We use both white and red miso because the combination is so insanely savory, it’s not even fair. Our crave-worthy flavor always comes from simple, clean ingredients.

Growing up, my bachan (aka granny) would cook up the most amazing meals with our family’s sauce. Now, we are honored to share this multi-generational recipe with you. Let’s eat! Itadakimasu!
