Smoked Pig Shots

Directions

  1. Slice kielbasa into 1 inch thick pieces.

  2. Wrap each piece with a slice of THICK cut bacon then put a toothpick through it to secure it. Tip: make sure the fat side of the bacon is on the bottom.

  3. Put together the filling in a large bowl with: 1 block softened cream cheese, 2 diced jalapeños, 1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese, ¼ cup sour cream and 3 tbsp Bachan’s.

  4. Smoke them at 350° F for 45 minutes indirect of the heat.

  5. Drizzle Bachan’s on top of each pig shot the last 15 minutes.

  6. Remove when the bacon is crispy

  7. Drizzle sriracha mayo and bachan’s on top then garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Bachan'sThe OriginalBold, fresh and filled with umami flavor.

The one that started it all, the O.G. Japanese Barbecue Sauce – bold, savory-sweet, and so authentic, it should be notarized. Our crave-worthy flavors come from traditionally brewed soy sauce, mirin, ginger, garlic and green onion– only clean, simple ingredients.

Growing up, my bachan (aka granny) would cook up the most amazing meals with our family’s sauce. Now, we are honored to share this multi-generational recipe with you. Let’s eat! Itadakimasu!
