Homemade Pork Jerky

Homemade Pork Jerky

Directions

  1. Place the pork loin in the freezer for 1-2 hours prior to cutting. 

  2. Trim excess fat from loin then cut into ¼ inch thick slices using a sharp knife.

  3. Place the pork in a ziploc bag then add the marinade to the bag. Seal then place in the fridge for 18-24 hours. 

  4. Remove pork from marinade then smoke at 185°F for 3-4 hours. 

  5. Brush more Bachan’s Sweet Honey on top of each piece the last 30 minutes. 

  6. Remove once the jerky becomes translucent.

  7. Top with sesame seeds and chili flakes then let the jerky cool down in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

  8. Refrigerate for up to a week and enjoy!
