Our Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce was the one that started it all, made from our founder Justin’s authentic, multi-generational family recipe. All of our Japanese Barbecue Sauces have a bold, fresh, umami flavor from clean ingredients like non-GMO soy sauce, aged mirin, ginger, green onion, and garlic. Our fans’ love to use our sauces to marinate and barbecue chicken or steak, drizzle them on a rice bowl, or use them to up-level leftovers or takeout. (Psst - parents tell us it’s also a secret sauce to get kids to eat any type of veggie).

- Our premium Non-GMO Soy Sauce is brewed using traditional methods dating back hundreds of years.
- Bachan's is made with real, high-quality mirin sourced from Japan. Mirin is a rice wine that is a key ingredient in many traditional Japanese sauces such as Bachan's. Bachan's mirin suppliers are family-owned and have been making mirin for generations in Japan.
- The Organic Rice Vinegar we use to make our sauce is made with select organic rice grown in the US. It is brewed using a traditional method and aged for a month until it mellows so it brings balanced flavor to our sauces.
